Free smartphone app helps locate 15,000 global charging points

By / 11 years ago / International News / No Comments

Known as ecarga, the application can show the location of any charging point in the world, sorted by where they are located – such as car parks, shopping centres or airports – and filter them via the type of electrical connector or operator.

Users will also be able to share data about the charging point via the app, and Atos expects to add functions such as route planning, advanced reservations and remote access to charging data in the near future.

The ecarga app is available for Android smartphone and tablets at launch, but will soon be rolled out for the iPhone and iPad. Locations will continue to be updated as the worldwide network of charging points grows.
