Midlands technology park gets first electric vehicle charging points

By / 12 years ago / International News / No Comments

The units will provide recharging facilities for tenants and visitors to the £100m technology park, redeveloped by St Mowden. Each Evolt charging post has two outlets, shows charging status and user information on a screen and is accessed by an RFID card.

Andrea Bolton, Property Manager at Longbridge Technology Park, said: ‘The Innovation Centre specialises in providing modern accommodation for start-up and expanding technology-based businesses, and the introduction of these charging stations marks St Modwen's latest commitment to providing occupants with forward-thinking business solutions and services.

‘St Modwen hopes that tenants of the park will take advantage of the opportunity to use a more renewable alternative to petrol and diesel-powered transport.’
