By / 12 years ago / International News / No Comments

The company will provide a nationwide installation and support service for the vehicle’s indoor and outdoor charging units, including training, 24/7 customer helplines and a three-year warranty. MMNA is waiving the $99.99 site consultation charge for the first 2,000 customers to buy a Mitsubishi i, sold globally as the i-MiEV.

Tim Conver, president and chief executive officer of AeroVironment, Inc, said: ‘Automotive manufacturers like Mitsubishi are blazing new trails in clean transportation and delivering EVs that are more accessible to a wider population of drivers.

‘AeroVironment and Mitsubishi Motors share a vision where EV drivers enjoy a positive transportation experience that includes a full 'tank' at the start of every day. We look forward to working with Mitsubishi Motors to achieve that vision.’

MMNA began delivering the i in California last December, with the first shipment for Eastern Seaboard customers arriving at Baltimore last week. It arrives having been named America's Greenest Car in a recent study.
