Chargepoint in the US has developed a new Express Plus Electric Vehicle Charging Platform that charges up to eight times faster than today’s mainstream fast chargers.

The Express Plus can deliver up to 400 kilowatts (kW) to an EV and will be launched in July 2017. It will be accompanied by the CHargepoint app that will enable EV drivers to find ChargePoint Express stations for long-distance trips, along with other ChargePoint stations for Level 2 charging around town.
