New Rexel recruit to spearhead awareness of Energeasy Drive online platform

Cheese was previously business development manager at solar PV provider, Kingspan Energy Ltd where he was responsible for developing partner relationships with property developers, architects and contractors, in order to secure specifications and generate new business. Prior to this, he worked at renewable energy specialist, E-Tricity Ltd as an area sales manager.

In his new role at Rexel, he will be responsible for propelling the Energeasy Drive offer, and raising the profile of the brand nationally and creating demand across all sectors of the EV charging environment, both on the commercial and domestic fronts.

Steve Everard, head of Rexel Energy Solutions, said: “As more consumers and businesses alike make the switch to EV, it is vital that we continue to expand the charging infrastructure needed to meet this escalating demand. As such, we specifically developed Energeasy Drive to help take the confusion out of EV and make it easier for installers looking to diversify into the sector.

“Steve’s role is integral to this in helping to raise our profile and expand into new territories. We are therefore thrilled to have someone of his calibre on board to help us in our bid of leveraging Energeasy Drive to propel EV adoption forward.”
