Tesla and Sixt to lease Model S in Switzerland

The two companies already have a partnership to lease the electric vehicle to customers in Germany, and will offer the Model S for CHF 810-950 (£550-£640) per month on a 36-month lease, based on a 10% desposit and including annual servicing by Tesla.

Sixt Leasing said, with use of Tesla’s free-to-access Supercharger rapid charging network and savings  including exemption from the Swiss annual road tax, monthly costs should be around 660 CHF (£450) based on the entry-level 60kWh battery.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, said: ‘We're pleased to offer attractive financing deals to our Swiss customers. After a successful launch in Germany, we're looking forward to extending our partnership with Sixt Leasing to Switzerland.’

Based in California, Tesla Motors launched its executive-sized Model S in Europe last year beginning with markets which have high per-capita electric vehicle ownership. Right hand drive sales will begin this quarter, with the UK expected to be a fleet-heavy market.
