Alphabet surpasses 1,000 vehicle milestone with Alphabet Partner

Of the 1,000 vehicles delivered, nearly 5% (49) were electric vehicles and just fewer than 10% (90) were light commercial vehicles. All 34 Brokers within the Alphabet Partner channel engaged in the transactions utilising all five of Alphabet’s funding products; contract hire, finance lease, contract purchase, personal contract purchase (PCP) and personal contract hire (PCH).

Overseen by Gavin Davies, head of indirect sales, the exclusive Broker channel provides SME organisations with access to Alphabet’s full suite of funding, fleet management and advanced mobility solutions via a select network of Broker partners. Since the launch of the new channel on 30 September 2014, Alphabet has witnessed an unprecedented demand from customers, with an average of 333 vehicles delivered per month.

‘The fact we’ve managed to secure over 1,000 deliveries, within the first three months of launching the programme, is a real testament to the value of the new channel and the quality of our Brokers,’ commented Gavin Davies.

‘We’ve invested a lot in to our Broker channel, and will continue to do so over the next few years. In the space of a few month’s we’ve already managed to deliver a broad range of multi-make vehicles, including healthy numbers of EVs and LCVs. However, this is only the start of things to come. This was never a short-term initiative for us; we’ve entered into a three year agreement with our brokers and can only expect the volume of deliveries to continue to grow as the channel matures.’

The Alphabet Partner channel consists of a network of 34 Broker partners across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  Central to its success is “icon”, a bespoke IT system designed in conjunction with Brokers to support partners during every stage of the sales lifecycle.
