Climate-neutral factory is first German e-NV200 customer

By / 10 years ago / International News / No Comments

The company, based near Dusseldorf, operates the first climate-neutral factory in Germany. It uses 100% hydro-electric power for machinery and heating, and this will be used to charge the e-NV200 as well as the electric forklifts already in use at the plant.

Theo Besgen, managing director of BeoPlast, said: ‘We are the first in our industry to operate a climate-neutral production plant in Germany. Therefore we base all our activities on maximum environmental compatibility.

‘The new Nissan e-NV200 is the perfect addition to our fleet: the van offers plenty of space, but is entirely emission-free, especially since we can charge it here with electricity from renewable energy sources.’
