CT 200h Boosts Lexus Sales In 2011

By / 12 years ago / International News / No Comments

Introduced early last year, the CT 200h has proved to be a strong conquest proposition for the carmaker, with two thirds of all owners trading in from other brands. The manufacturer is expecting continued growth in the model’s first full year on sale, as well as a sales boost from the new GS 450h.

Richard Balshaw, Lexus UK director commented: '2011 was a great year for Lexus in the UK. CT 200h has made Lexus accessible to more customers. This result is all the more remarkable considering the significant supply disruption we experienced through the year as a result of the Japanese tsunami.'

This year, the company will also begin a range-wide roll-out of its new F-Sport trim in the UK, starting with the CT 200h. These models will feature more aggressive styling, black alloy wheels, interior and suspension upgrades, with no effect on fuel consumption or CO2 emissions.
