Georgia Power deploys Volt fleet for energy audit team
The branded vehicles will be used by the company’s energy efficiency experts, visiting homes and businesses across Georgia to carry out energy audits aimed at saving money for its customers.
Georgia Power is also running an electric vehicle initiative, started last year, which includes educating residents, offering rebates for charging equipment for residential and business properties and offering special tariffs for owners.
"We are leading by example and demonstrating to our customers, and other Georgia businesses, that electric transportation works for all drivers," said Chairman, President and CEO, Paul Bowers.
“Through constructive regulation, and partnerships with organizations like the EV Club of the South, we are growing the EV market in Georgia and helping our customers reap the overwhelming benefits of driving electric."
