Kent company launches 34-vehicle Tesla hire and chauffeur fleet

By / 10 years ago / International News / No Comments

The company, which is part of plant hire specialist H.E. Services Group, is targeting environmentally-conscious individuals and businesses primarily in London and the Home Counties, but can deliver anywhere in the country if the client requires.

Its fleet comprises 34 fully-owned Model S electric cars, all with the longest-range 85kWh battery, capable of 312 miles on the NEDC economy test. Of these, 13 have the 416bhp Performance pack, and two are the Performance+ version, which features an upgraded chassis.

EVision Supercars is aiming to operate its fleet on a lifespan of at least three years, in line with the vehicle’s four-year warranty and eight-year battery warranty, and expects to deploy the Model X SUV and compact executive Model III once these are available in Europe.

All cars are supplied with a full battery, charged at its depot in Kent using electricity from solar panels located on site.

Hugh Edeleanu, chairman H.E. Group Ltd. commented: ‘People are increasingly looking to hire premium cars for both business and leisure and we’re excited to be the UK’s first to offer the Tesla Model S in both the rental and chauffeur markets.

‘Whether for business or pleasure, a city break, long weekend or a longer period, it’s the perfect choice for those looking for a luxury supercar experience that won’t cost the earth!'
