By / 5 years ago / UK News / No Comments

The new Peugeot 208 and e-208 are now on sale in the UK, ahead of deliveries from early 2020.

The e-208 brings a WLTP-rated 211-mile range

Unveiled earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show and made available for reservations since April, the second-generation 208 – which is built on the latest CMP platform and is 30kg lighter than before – includes the e-208 full electric model that follows on from the iON.

Part of Peugeot plans to offer electrified variants across its model line-up by 2023, the e-208 brings a WLTP-rated 211-mile range and will get a 0% BiK rating for 2020/21.

Both models are available in 208 and e-208 in Active, Allure and GT Line specification, with the e-208 also available in flagship GT trim.

Prices for the 208 and e-208 start from £16,250 and £25,050 (incl PicG) respectively in Active trim.

David Peel, managing director of Peugeot UK, said: “The all-new 208 is the first vehicle in Peugeot’s line-up to fulfil the company’s new philosophy of ‘choose your Peugeot, choose your powertrain’. The 208 is also the first model to meet Peugeot’s promise of offering electrified variants across its entire model line-up by 2023.”
