By / 10 years ago / International News / No Comments

Google Glass allows traditional smartphone and camera functions to be displayed on a wearable transparent screen, with voice control and information overlayed in an augmented reality display.

Submitted for review this month, SemaConnect for Glass will be available through the MyGlass app, and allow drivers to locate charging points within 20 miles, then overlay turn-by-turn navigation and initiate a charging session hands free.

Mahi Reddy, Founder and CEO at SemaConnect, said: ‘This innovative and ground-breaking new app gives drivers even more freedom to choose how they prefer to charge their vehicle, and showcases our commitment to developing cutting-edge applications in a tech-driven world.’

SemaConnect’s charging point network is spread across the United States, including units located throughout at branches of Walgreens, Cisco Systems, Dunkin Donuts and Jones Lang LaSalle.
