Iveco has added the eDaily to its Driveaway programme of ready-built conversions, helping operators to go electric quicker and more easily.

The line-up includes ready-built dropside, tipper and caged tipper eDaily conversions

Developed with a selected range of partners, the Driveaway ‘one-stop shop’ programme provides a range of fully bodied vehicles priced as a complete package and ready for immediate delivery, subject to availability, from fleets’ local dealers.

The ‘ready built’ two-battery eDaily vehicles take full advantage of the modular battery system of the standard version and specially selected lightweight Brit-Tipp bodywork, providing a minimum one-tonne payload.

The 4.25-tonne eDaily not only maximises payload availability, but also enables an up to 2.75-tonne towing capacity with a seven-tonne GTW.

The range includes the dropside, featuring a durable alloy body and a 1,393kg payload, enabling a broad range of applications.

The eDaily is also available with a Brit-Tipp tipper body, giving a 1,223kg payload and providing an effective zero-emissions solution for operators.

The caged tipper version features a payload of 1,073kg and is aimed at urban waste disposal, grounds maintenance, forestry and utility work, delivering zero emissions for operators in sectors where this is becoming an essential requirement.

Each of these new eDaily Driveaway vehicles is powered by a rear-mounted 190hp/140kW electric motor and can rapid charge at up to 80kW.

These vehicles are available now for immediate delivery from all Iveco dealerships at a ‘single invoice’ price and come complete with a 2XL Planned Maintenance Package, which helps keep ownership costs predictable for operators.

Each vehicle features a three-year body warranty and is available in ‘Business’ trim, which includes automatic air conditioning, front fog lights, heated door mirrors, and cruise control as standard.

Mike Cutts, Iveco UK light business-line director, said: “The class-leading characteristics of the Iveco eDaily are further enhanced by joining the Driveaway Programme. Proving hugely popular with Iveco Daily diesel models, this ‘one-stop shop’ approach will allow more customers than ever to go electric quickly and efficiently.”
