Allstar launches EV home charging payments solution
Allstar Business Solutions is helping fleets to simplify payments for EV charging at home with a new solution.
Launched with the help of EV charging payment specialist Mina, the Homecharge solution provides companies with visibility of home charging across their fleet, with all charging costs coming through on one consolidated invoice. Any home charging payments are made directly to the drivers’ energy supplier, helping improve efficiency and reduce administration for businesses and drivers.
It solves the issue of charging reimbursement for drivers and accurate reporting of costs, addressing one of the biggest pain points for fleets.
It also brings multiple benefits for drivers, including access to their home charging history through the Allstar Driver Homecharge portal, which they can also use to manage home energy tariff details, have visibility over home charging sessions, and view when and how much EV charging has been paid for by their employer.
Combined with the Allstar One Electric combined fuel and electric charging card, it means drivers can access on-the-road charging too, with more than 5,000 charge points across a multi-branded EV charging network
The arrival of the new Homecharge solution means Allstar’s suite of EV charging solutions now provide a one-stop shop for fleets of all sizes, providing a holistic view of drivers charging sessions, on the road and at home with consolidated billing, accurate driver settlement and reporting.
Paul Holland, managing director of UK Fuel at Allstar Business Solutions, said: “Allstar Homecharge is supporting the many businesses that have already started to transition to EV fleets, as well as those who are planning to, by providing the payment processes and infrastructure needed to do this securely and seamlessly. It is the first of its kind to simplify EV charging payments for drivers and businesses when at home.”
