He brings almost 20 years of fleet management experience and will help build more strategic partnerships and oversee the roll-out of further electric vehicles onto the firm’s credit hire fleet.

Cripps has in-depth experience operating fleets as large as 7,000 vehicles. His past roles include 15 years at Mitie, four years at Addison Lee and just short of three years at Amazon. His career to date has included overseeing several crucial fleet operations such as accident management, daily rental supply chain, supplier management, and vehicle logistics.

Cripps will use his track record of delivering operational improvements and efficiency in his new position at AX.

He commented: “There are great opportunities to develop existing fleet relationships and introduce new partnerships as we push to improve our operation, source vehicles to lower emissions, and delight our clients. I join a fantastic leadership team and inherit a group of hugely experienced and passionate fleet and logistics professionals.”

He will also develop strategic supply relationships overseeing the adoption of more electric vehicles into the fleet. Demand from businesses and consumers continues to increase following the firm’s launch of its like-for-like replacement vehicle service for EV drivers three years ago, providing a dedicated fleet for business and private drivers wishing to remain in an electric car while their vehicle is offroad.
