BMW i3 available through Amazon Japan

The i3 launched in Japan last April, and 46 of the country’s 185 BMW dealers now have dedicated sales staff. BMW also has a team of mobile sales advisors, for areas where there is no dealer coverage.

Launching on amazon.co.jp this month offers an even broader sales model, claimed to be the first in Japan but also unique globally, as BMW looks to evolve in line with consumer trends. Buyers put money down through the website and lease the vehicle over a 60-month period through BMW in Japan.
