BMW plug-in hybrids to get iPerformance branding
The iPerformance branding will debut on long and short-wheelbase versions of the 7 Series Plug-in Hybrid, which will feature a BMW i logo on the wings and blue elements in the grille and wheel hubs, matching the i3 and i8.
Customers will be able to take advantage of the 360° ELECTRIC products and services, including the BMW i Wallbox, bespoke ConnectedDrive features and the ChargeNow public charging access.
Shortly afterwards, this will be rolled out to other plug-in hybrids, including the X5 xDrive40e, the 330 e and 225d xDrive, all of which use battery, motor and control system technology derived from BMW i models.
