EV charging app Bonnet has expanded further with the addition of FM Conway’s SureCharge network.

The Bonnet app now stretches across 24 networks and over 90,000 connections, spanning the whole of Europe

The latest addition will add over 2,000 locations to Bonnet’s network in the UK and will particularly support EV drivers without off-street parking.

The SureCharge network was set up in 2021 by the leading construction group FM Conway and most of its current 2,000 chargers are located in London, though its network is growing quickly across the country.

The majority of chargers are 5.5kWh lamppost devices, but rapid chargers with up to 150kWh also feature.

The arrival of SureCharge means Bonnet users now have access to 25 networks and over 150,000 devices spanning the whole of the UK and Europe.

Other recent additions to the app include MFG EV Power in the UK and the Italian networks Enel X Way and FTX.

As well as gaining easy access to affordable EV charging across multiple countries, Bonnet users can also see real-time data on charger availability through its app, ensuring no time is wasted travelling to in-use or damaged charge points.

The app costs from £2 per month and customers are also offered discounted prices of 10% at all listed chargers through the ‘Boost’ scheme, and 15% discounts under its £8 a month ‘Turbo Boost’ plan, whether they are located in car parks, on streets or at motorway networks.

Patrick Reich, CEO and co-founder of Bonnet, said: “We are very excited to start the new year by adding the SureCharge network to Bonnet as it continues to rapidly grow in the UK.

“SureCharge from FM Conway is a natural partner for Bonnet as we both share the same mission to deliver an accessible and reliable charging experience for all drivers, wherever they are using rapid devices or on-street lampposts.

“We look forward to working with FM Conway and their SureCharge network, and all our network partners as more and more people make the switch to EVs in 2023.”
