Currently on trial and due to expand in the coming weeks, the app connects with electric vehicles themselves rather than chargers. It’s compatible with 75% of electric cars; said to be the highest level of compatibility in the market.

Designed to put electric drivers in control of their energy, the app enables drivers to charge their car at a cheaper rate overnight – during the trial, members will be able to charge their car at a cheaper rate of 4p per kWh between 2am and 6am and around 20p per kWh outside of their hours.

They can also schedule and track the cost of charging in the Bulb app, and live the live status of their car.

Members can also order the EO Mini Pro 2 – billed as the world’s smallest smart electric vehicle charger – and arrange installation and access the EVHS grant from the Bulb website.
