C-Zero heads for Hollywood

The vehicles will join a fleet of 72 Citroëns based out of its offices in Birmingham, with the C-Zero deployed to allow employees to get between the company’s headquarters and a housing association contract in Worcester, 20 miles away.

Both Status and its client, WM Housing Group, have installed charging points for the C-Zero at their offices. As part of the contract, Status will have to have an employee on site every day.

Leigh Skillett, Status’s finance director, said: ‘As a company we are actively engaged in reducing the carbon footprint of our operation. When we gained this new contract, the C-Zero was the ideal candidate with its zero emissions, silent running and low cost of operation.’
