Cenex to showcase low carbon vehicles in EMEX Transport Zone

The event takes place on 19 – 20 November at ExCel in London and this year the Transport Zone will feature two electric vehicles; the Nissan Leaf and Nissan eNV200 Van; as well as charging posts from Electromotive and ChargeMaster.

In addition, Keith Budden, head of business development at Cenex, will be presenting “Delivering Carbon and Cost Savings in Your Fleet – Getting Ready for ESOS”, at 10:30am on Wednesday, 19 November 2014.

In his presentation, Budden will outline the ESOS scheme and its impact upon fleets and show how you can be compliant and save carbon and cash too. He will also demonstrate Cenex’s unique and free to use fleet carbon reduction tool.

Zero Carbon Futures in partnership with Gateshead College will also be on the Transport Zone and will be advising delegates on learning opportunities with regards to maintaining low carbon vehicles.

Keith Budden said: ‘Energy Managers now need to understand the carbon and financial cost of Transport used in their businesses as part of the Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme (ESOS). The key for Cenex is not just to help ensure compliance but most importantly, to deliver the opportunity aspect of the scheme thus increasing business competitiveness and securing cash and carbon savings.’
