ChargeGuru and Co Charger partner to streamline EV home charging

ChargeGuru UK, a leading electric vehicle charging solutions provider, is collaborating with community charging app Co Charger to bring innovative charging options to current and future EV drivers.

Once the charger is live, Co Charger’s platform enables people and companies with EV chargers to share them

The partnership will support EV drivers looking for an immediate home charge point quote and reliable installation via ChargeGuru. Drivers can then rent out their charge points to neighbours to help them swap to an electric vehicle.

Through ChargeGuru, over 90% of people get an immediate set of priced-up options after answering a few simple questions on their website. Each customer receives a personalised quote with tailored options based on their specific needs, and the entire installation process is managed seamlessly through their system.

Once the EV charger is live, Co Charger’s ‘Community Charging’ platform enables people and companies with chargers to share them on a bookable, paid basis with nearby residents. Co Charger says it’s the UK’s second-largest EV charging network and it’s growing fast, as it offers users an income alongside supporting a sustainability switch.

Denis Watling, managing director of ChargeGuru UK, said: “This collaboration is a natural fit, as we both offer innovative solutions for people who face challenges charging at home.

“ChargeGuru makes selecting and installing at-home charge points simple and accessible, while Co Charger provides a great way to maximise the use of these chargers once installed, supporting the transition to sustainable mobility.”

Joel Teague, CEO of Co Charger, added: “We’ve seen great success in enabling people with EV chargers to share them with neighbours, so they can more easily transition to an electric vehicle.

“ChargeGuru is a logical option for anyone looking to install a charger, we’re proud to recommend them to those with EVs or those looking to benefit from offering charge points.”
