Chargemaster expands capacity to meet demand
The 7,000 sq ft factory at Luton Airport was established 18 months ago to produce its domestic, workplace and public charging points and is rolling out 2,000 products a month.
Jeff Solomon, group technical director, commented: ‘The decision to start our own production facility in early 2013 has proved to be a huge success ensuring we can keep up with buoyant customer demand. The mezzanine floor allows us to continue to expand to continue that growth. We are delighted to be manufacturing in the UK and it appears our customers share that view.’
