Citroën has cut prices for its Dispatch and ë-Dispatch Electric LCVs by £1,000 across the line-up under a series of changes for 2022.

Citroën ë-Dispatch Electric

As part of its ‘Fair Pricing’ pledge announced a year ago, Dispatch pricing now starts from £22,995 for the entry-level X Pro Panel Van model, while ë-Dispatch Electric starts from £26,450 (incl. Plug-in Van Grant) in Enterprise Pro Panel Van trim. As before, both models are available in three lengths – XS, M and XL – and either panel van or crew van configurations.

The updates also bring a number of changes to the Dispatch engine line-up, including a new Euro 6.3 diesel engine. The BlueHDi 100 S&S six-speed manual powertrain replaces the previous version and brings improved efficiency, with CO2 emissions reduced by up to 3g/km.

The former 2.0-litre BlueHDi 120 diesel has also been replaced with a BlueHDi 145 engine, which is available with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The line-up also brings a new 1.5-litre BlueHDi 120 S&S 6-speed manual powertrain that replaces the previous BlueHDi 120 and delivers a 15g/km reduction in CO2. As part of the changes the BlueHDi 150 has also been removed from the range.

The powertrain for the Citroën ë-Dispatch Electric models remains the same and comprises either a 50kWh or a 75kWh battery pack, combined with a 136hp electric motor, giving WLTP-rated ranges of 143 and 205 miles respectively.

Other changes for 2022 see both the Dispatch and ë-Dispatch Electric trim line-up revamped to X Pro, Enterprise Pro and Driver Pro models, following on from Citroën’s ‘Inspired by Pro’ campaign.

X Pro models are equipped with 16-inch steel wheels, twin sliding side doors, daytime running lights and a full-size steel spare wheel. The interior features a full steel bulkhead, with all models receiving Citroën Connect Box with Emergency & Assistance system. Bluetooth connectivity is also included.

Enterprise Pro models add in Citroën’s Moduwork dual passenger bench with a fold-up outer seat that improves load capacity. There is also a fold-down writing table on the back of in the centre seat, while a Moduwork load-through flap in the steel bulkhead enables extra-long items to be transported.

Enterprise Pro models gain rear parking sensors and a laminated acoustic windscreen, along with automatic lights and windscreen wipers. All models also feature a 7-inch colour touchscreen with Citroën Connect DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Top-of-the-range Driver Pro models feature 17-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured front and rear bumpers, and metallic paint, along with front LED daytime running lights and Citroën’s Park Assist 180 system with front and rear parking sensors, and a Visio Park 180-degree rear parking camera.
