DKV Mobility, a leading platform for international mobility services, is expanding its UK charging network under a partnership with global network operator Applegreen Electric.

The agreement will give DKV Mobility customers access to an extra 390 charge points in the UK and Ireland

DKV Mobility already provides one of the most extensive EV charging networks across Europe with access to some 853,000 charge points. The new agreement will give DKV Mobility customers access to an extra 390 charge points in the UK and Ireland. Customers of DKV Mobility can access Applegreen Electric’s charging bays via the DKV Card +Charge or via the DKV Mobility App. The charging bays offer up to 350kW charging capacity per station.

Sven Mehringer, managing director energy & vehicle services at DKV Mobility, said: “This collaboration fits perfectly with our commitment to provide seamless and accessible charging solutions for our customers.”

Jack O’Brien, country manager UK at Applegreen Electric, added: “Partnering with DKV Mobility allows us to offer their customers a reliable, fast, and convenient charging experience at our prime locations, with dedicated on-site support staff available to resolve any issues immediately and get drivers back on their journey. We remain committed to powering our stations with 100% renewable energy, minimising our environmental impact and promoting a sustainable future.”

Applegreen Electric hosts and operates universal access EV charging bays. The company seeks to support its customers on their transition to EV driving by providing a seamless charging experience alongside popular food and beverage brands and high-quality facilities.

Applegreen Electric’s charging infrastructure is integrated into DKV Mobility’s acceptance network using software from GreenFlux, a subsidiary of DKV Mobility. The tech company from Amsterdam enables DKV Mobility’s EV charging service offering and has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Applegreen Electric.

As well as offering one of the most extensive EV charging networks across Europe, DKV Mobility also provides workplace and home charging solutions.
