Businesses and drivers in Edinburgh can now rent a Tesla Model 3 or a Mercedes-Benz EQB electric SUV from the Europcar branch at St James Quarter.

The Tesla Model 3 and Mercedes EQB are the latest EVs to join the Europcar offering

The new vehicles arrive hot on the opening of the branch in August and are the latest EVs to join the Europcar offering, providing drivers with zero-emission solutions.

The launch of the new site means business and leisure travellers now have the option to collect vehicles from Europcar at Edinburgh Airport or from the prestigious and centrally located St James Quarter, enhancing convenience.

Ron Santiago, managing director, Europcar Mobility Group UK, said: “More people are looking for eco-travel solutions to reduce their carbon footprint whether it’s for a leisure or business trip. The continued adoption of electric vehicles by Europcar and increasing our network of hybrid and electric cars availability, underpins our ‘One Sustainable Fleet’ programme which aims to have at least 20% of our vehicles emitting less than 50g/km by the end of 2024.”
