Mobilize Power Solutions UK, Renault Group’s recently launched EV charging infrastructure and services provider, continues to ramp up its work with the appointment of Carl Cook.

A leading electric vehicle charging infrastructure expert, Cook becomes UK eMobility Lead – vehicle & infrastructure and will be responsible for developing business across all types of business and organisations, as well as managing the whole life cycle of nationwide projects.

He brings over 27 years’ experience of working within the charging infrastructure and sustainable energy sectors, including at Actavo and ChargePoint. This will be put to use at Mobilize to ensure businesses, fleets, local government and residential electric vehicle users benefit from agnostic, future-proofed charging solutions and enable them to take advantage of zero-emission transport.

Cook commented: “My decision to join Mobilize Power Solutions is because I believe it is able to truly provide the much-needed link between electric vehicles and infrastructure. It’s the latest development at Mobilize, which rebranded and relaunched in the UK in June 2021, facilitating charging infrastructure projects for fleets regardless of the brand of vehicle.

The move saw the group’s Elexent subsidiary renamed as part of Renault’s new Mobilize brand that was announced at the start of the year under the Renaulution five-star strategy plan.
