Film Logistics, a specialist provider of transport support to the film and TV sector, is making the shift to electric vehicles with the help of Europcar.

Film Logistics has been working with Europcar for over a year, helping to meet the sustainability goals of the industry

The company, which delivers a one-stop shop for all TV and film production mobility requirements, is meeting the sustainability needs of the film industry without a long-term financial commitment thanks to its access to electric vehicles from Europcar.

Film Logistics has been working with Europcar for over a year, helping to meet the sustainability goals of the industry whilst delivering effective mobility solution for its clients.

Richard Mills, director at Film Logistics, said: “Due to the ever-changing needs of our clients and the time pressures we face to get to several locations across the UK, a fixed fleet simply wouldn’t meet the needs of the business. To make sure we comply with the various eco and sustainability targets that the industry sets, we were looking for a partner that could match our mission.”

Mills said that Europcar was the obvious choice thanks to the flexibility of its fleet and access to vehicles with no long-term financial commitments, deposits or early-termination penalty charges.

Tom Middleditch, head of electric mobility at Europcar, added: “By accessing full electric and hybrid vehicles on short- or long-term rental, an organisation can flex and ‘green’ their fleet on a case-by-case basis. It is fantastic that Film Logistics is adapting its services to recognise the sustainability goals that are being put in place by the film and TV industries, and we are proud to be a part of that mission.”
