First all-electric Ford E-Transit 15-seat minibus delivered in UK
The first all-electric Ford E-Transit 15-seat minibus has been delivered in the UK in a major milestone for sustainable transport.
Delivered by PHVC Minibus and Fleet Suppliers in conjunction with Ford UK and GowringsVersa Mobility, the landmark vehicle has gone to the White House in Hampshire, supporting its specialist work in dementia care.
The vehicle will be used to transport residents to and from the White House, as well as for off-site events and excursions.
Alongside its zero tailpipe emissions, the E-Transit minibus also offers advanced safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking.
“We are thrilled to be the first in the UK to receive the all-new fully electric Ford E-Transit,” said Julie Harrison, manging director of the White House. “We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and providing our residents with the highest levels of comfort and convenience, and this vehicle is the perfect solution for us.”
The order forms part of PHVC Minibus and Fleet Suppliers’ work to support the transition to sustainable transportation with a range of electric vehicles available for lease.
“We are delighted to be the first to deliver the all-new fully electric Ford 15-seater to the White House,” said Paul Huxford, managing director of PHVC. “This vehicle represents the future of transportation, and we are proud to be at the forefront of the transition to sustainable transport in the UK.”
