American EV brand Fisker has signed up Santander Consumer Finance as its preferred finance partner for UK fleet and private customers.

The partnership with Santander Consumer Finance supports Fisker’s launch and expansion in the UK

The new partnership enables Fisker customers to select from a broad range of finance products to suit their needs, including business contract hire (BCH), personal contract hire (PCH), personal contract purchase (PCP) and conditional sale (CS).

Fisker said the tie-up with Santander Consumer Finance would enable it to expand its offering in the EV market and deliver on customers’ needs as vehicle rollout continues.

CEO and founder Henrik Fisker elaborated: “With our vision for a clean future for all, we want to make the Fisker Ocean accessible for a larger group of customers through attractive finance offers. As a new EV brand in the market, we want to give our customers choices of competitive financing options provided by Santander Consumer Finance, one of Europe’s largest consumer finance companies.”

The move comes as Fisker continues to expand its presence in the UK by opening the Fisker Center+ Milton Keynes, for brand experience, service, test drives and deliveries. This is in addition to the Fisker Lounge London at Westfield London mall.

The brand, which now operates in 12 markets worldwide, has also launched its UK vehicle delivery programme. Deliveries of right-hand-drive versions of its Ocean SUV started in October 2023, initially in limited-edition One grade, followed by the Extreme top-rung version in December 2023 under a salary sacrifice collaboration with Octopus EV, and then the entry-level Ocean Sport.

Fisker recently lowered pricing for the Ocean Extreme worldwide – dropping in the UK market from £60,880 to £57,900 – offering price adjustments to existing Extreme customers.

California-based Fisker also recently showcased its vision for a sustainable all-electric vehicle line-up by 2026 at its first-ever Product Vision Day, which included reveals of its Pear city EV due mid-2025, the Ronin four-door convertible GT sports car and the Alaska four-door pickup truck, plus the Force-E offroad package for the Ocean SUV, designed to maximise torque, power and best-in-class range.

Latest sales figures show Fisker produced 10,142 EVs in 2023, starting customer deliveries in June and ramping up significantly in September and October. The company grew deliveries by over 300% from Q3 to Q4, and total deliveries are approximately 4,700, with the majority being the Ocean One launch edition vehicles.

This month will see Fisker announce a plan to further accelerate sales and deliveries, aligning with its production capabilities and “strong demand” for the Ocean SUV.

The brand also offers a loyalty programme, open to customers with an existing order or reservation for any Fisker vehicle in North America and Europe and recently enhanced with additional benefits and rewards.
