Fleet Evolution is to exhibit at this April’s Great British Fleet Event to shed light on how salary sacrifice provides a single solution to multiple fleet issues.

Fleet Evolution will reveal how sal-sac can cut costs and hassle compared to cash allowances and company-provided fleets, while helping drivers go electric

Based out of the Midlands, the flexible benefits and fleet specialist is dedicated to the provision of cost-neutral, flexible employee car schemes. With a background stretching back to 2010, Fleet Evolution understands the intricacies of the benefits market and is uniquely formed and developed to serve this market.

It also proudly lays claim to having the launched the UK’s first electric car salary sacrifice scheme way back in 2012 – giving it more than a decade of experience in helping fleets go electric.

At the 2023 Great British Fleet Event, which takes place on 25 April at Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, Fleet Evolution will highlight how salary sacrifice cars provide a flexible, hassle-free and cost-saving alternative to both cash allowances and company-provided fleets.

Managing director Andrew Leech explains: “We’ve had great success moving essential users out of diesel company and cash allowance cars into electric vehicles by fixing a salary sacrifice allowance around the company’s current costs.

“We then use this as a basis for salary sacrifice, meaning employers escape the politics and much of the admin and leaver risk of running a fleet. Meanwhile, the employee has full use of their cash allowance, giving the more badge-obsessed drivers the chance to upgrade (within limits) and pay less than their old company car tax on diesels while gaining access to a brand-new EV.

“Our all-encompassing offering also means more cost-conscious drivers can benefit from driving more value-focused EVs, still getting all the benefits of electric driving but enabling them to retain some of their cash allowance to support family finances.

“We offer all of this alongside, of course, our salary sacrifice scheme for all colleagues, which is the oldest and lowest-risk EV-focused scheme on the market, with open and honest engagement to ease the transition.”

Fleet Evolution is one of a large number of fleet experts exhibiting at this year’s Great British Fleet Event. The show also includes a comprehensive Masterclass line-up of seminars and the evening’s black-tie gala dinner where the winners of Fleet World’s Great British Fleet Awards will be announced.
