Fleetdrive Electric launches ULEV salary sacrifice scheme

The Marlow, Bucks-based company said it has seen growing interest from its existing customers for salary sacrifice, and hopes that a scheme specially designed for ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) will prove attractive to businesses with less than 1,000 employees – its target audience.

Mike Potter, managing Director of Fleetdrive Electric said: “Many leasing companies already have a salary sacrifice offering, but it is effectively a “bolt on” to the menu of funding solutions they already offer.

“In keeping with our reputation for customer service excellence and innovative low-carbon transport solutions, we now have a bespoke salary sacrifice car product available that we believe is at the cutting-edge of what is available.”

The scheme will be led by sales director, Adam Kemp, backed by a team of specialists. He said: “The continuing stream from vehicle manufacturers of low-emission cars twinned with ‘attractive’ corporate and personal tax rates on those vehicles when compared with salary tax rates makes sacrificing earnings for a car financially beneficial for organisations and staff.

“With the additional environmental benefits that electric vehicles provide, we believe demand for a ULEV salary sacrifice programme, which boosts your environmental credentials, will soon begin to accelerate.”
