Genesis to make further inroads in fleet and sal-sac sectors in 2025

Luxury Korean automotive brand Genesis is ramping up its focus on businesses, SMEs and user-choosers during 2025 following strong success in the last year.

Popular Genesis models include the Electrified GV70

The successful introduction of the carmaker to the corporate sales sector this year has secured 700 end-user agreements with corporate clients who can offer Genesis models on their company car and salary sacrifice choice lists.

Buoyed by the momentum and feedback, Genesis has confirmed its intention to reach out to more fleets next year.

Jonny Miller, brand director at Genesis Motor UK, commented: “We’ve had great feedback from the new businesses we have introduced to the brand this year, as well as high satisfaction from new drivers and we intend to go up a gear and reach more businesses.

“Drivers new to Genesis tell us that they enjoy the luxury, tech features and design of the vehicle combined with our no-nonsense, hassle-free ownership experience.

“Being able to showcase the Genesis vehicles at fleet and corporate events is hugely important to us as a brand, and with model updates due next year we have even more reason to do so. The vehicles really do speak for themselves”.

Although relatively new to the UK, the brand is growing its visibility with high-profile experience centres, two in London and one in Edinburgh, alongside a growing retail network, high-profile sponsorships of golf tournaments and art exhibitions as well as the launch of its endurance racing motorsport programme.

Since its global launch in 2015, Genesis has seen rapid growth with over 500,000 cars sold in just the past few years. And during 2023, Genesis reached a milestone of selling over one million vehicles globally.

In the UK, the Genesis line-up originally included five petrol and diesel models launched in 2021 and has since expanded with three all-electric products, including the GV60, Electrified GV70 and Electrified G80.

The brand’s 5 Year Care Plan includes servicing, discounted charging, road rescue and a Genesis personal assistant, while its ‘we come to you service’ ensures that help and support is a phone call away.
