GoWithFlow to spearhead discussion on gender and diversity at Decarbonisation Summit
GoWithFlow, a specialist in sustainable mobility management, is to lead a panel on gender and diversity taking place at today’s Decarbonisation Summit.
The Summit is being held in conjunction with COP26 in Glasgow and aims to advance the narrative of a fully decarbonised future and advocate for innovative approaches.
The event, run by Green.TV Media and Scottish energy company SSE, will include a panel on gender and diversity, led by GoWithFlow CEO Jane Hoffer.
As a seasoned tech industry leader, who has led sales initiatives at global companies such as IBM and founded technology startups, Hoffer will share insights on how companies with more diverse workforces perform better than companies that don’t.
This includes a Harvard Business Review study of more than 22,000 companies around the world, which found that by increasing female leadership at companies that previously had no women in corporate leader roles, profitability rose by an average 15%.
“Inclusion and belonging are concepts that go beyond skills and gender breakdown percentages,” commented Hoffer. “When a company truly imbues its culture with values that reflect inclusion, that’s when real change happens.”
As CEO of GoWithFlow, she has championed the company’s transition from R&D-focused technology to a commercial offering that supports companies and organisations as they transition from traditional to electric vehicles, and models how they can develop and manage the charging infrastructure to support them.
Hoffer will be one of a number of international speakers at the first-ever Decarbonisation Summit, which takes place 9-10 November in Glasgow, concurrent with COP26.
