The Home and Workplace Charge Point Grant will provide funding to the first 300 buyers of electric vehicles, with a cut-off date of 31st March 2013. To be eligible, the unit must be a smart charger capable of showing energy consumption to the user.

Applicants will need to either select one from Northern Ireland’s Plugged-in Places scheme ecar Project’s list of approved suppliers, or provide a letter showing it complies with the project’s requirements. Usage data will be downloaded and analysed by the ecar Project until the end of March 2016.
