Gridserve Car Leasing has launched a 1,000 miles free charging offer for drivers who make the switch to an electric vehicle.

Gridserve’s 1,000 miles free charging offer applies to every car leased this May and June

The offer applies to every car leased this May and June through the electric car and charging specialist and provides customers with an RFID card pre-loaded with £125 of charging. The 1,000 miles figure is calculated using an average consumption of 4 miles / kWh, so gives the user 250kWh of energy at Gridserve’s Electric Super Hub pricing.

The offer has been made possible due to Gridserve’s upgrade and expansion of its nationwide charging network, which now includes more than 160 sites offering the latest charging technology, contactless payments and 24/7 support.

Available charging sites include the company’s flagship Electric Forecourts in Braintree and Norwich, its new High Power Electric Super Hubs in Swansea, Exeter, Burton-in-Kendal and Thurrock, plus its Electric Hubs across the motorway network and popular retail destinations – acquired from Ecotricity a year ago and now significantly upgraded and expanded.

The offer also showcases the work by the Gridserve Car Leasing team to give drivers access to a one-stop-shop for everything EV. This includes test drives and access to the leasing team at the Electric Forecourts as well as virtually on the phone and on live chat. The team also has fleet specialists to help businesses make the switch.

Robert Buckland, sales and operations director at Gridserve Car Leasing, said: “Gridserve Car Leasing combines the company’s EV and charging expertise, offering drivers access to all the latest electric cars and the most convenient charging, powered by sustainable energy. The 1000 miles offer is a fantastic way to get started on your electric journey, with a combination of expert EV advice from our leasing team and an entire network of newly upgraded charge points to keep you on the road.”
