GWM Ora 03 electric hatch revamped with new GT
GWM UK has made over its Ora 03 line-up with new pricing and a range-topping GT.
The electric hatch, launched late 2022 as the erstwhile Funky Cat and recently rebranded, gets a new three-grade line-up, priced from £24,995 and available with two battery choices.
The new Pure variant is powered by a 48kWh battery with an official 192-mile WLTP range. It features a 10.25-inch multimedia infotainment screen, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, as well as satellite navigation, wireless phone charging and Bluetooth compatibility.
Standard safety features across the range include lane keep assist, lane departure warning, intelligent evade and high beam assist, along with traffic jam assist, auto emergency braking, with pedestrian & cyclist detection, blind spot warning and adaptive cruise control.
Onboard tech also delivers a 360-degree camera system, rear parking camera and rear parking sensors as standard, along with keyless entry and start, a facial recognition system and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The new-look Pro model sits above the Pure and is priced from £28,995. Its larger 63kWh battery boosts WLTP range to 261 miles. The Pro version also adds in leatherette seating which is heated for front occupants, auto parking assist, auto reversing and front parking sensors.
The top-line GT trim comes in at £32,995 and delivers bespoke exterior and interior GT styling elements. These include 18-inch GT diamond-cut alloy wheels with red detailing and red brake callipers. Exterior body kit includes wheel arch extensions, front bumper garnish and front and rear bumper styling, while the rear roof-mounted spoiler is fitted with the GT emblem. The interior completes the GT focus with sporty red seat belts, GT embossed insignia in the front headrests, various red styling elements, and ventilated and massaging front seats.
The GT also comes with a panoramic sunroof, launch control and a heat pump.
All models are backed with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and come with an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty for the battery unit.
The new Ora 03 is now open for pre-orders, with the first customer handovers expected in March.
