The first five have been added to three of the company’s locations, at Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands Airports, ahead of a country-wide rollout of the 45 remaining vehicles. It joins a range of low emission petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric rental vehicles, each chosen for their environmental credentials.

Green Motion fleet manager, Paloma Miller, said: ‘We are delighted to include the Honda Insight into Green Motion’s fleet line up. The demand for low emission vehicles is increasing day by day and while we’ve only had the Insights on fleet for a matter of days, customer feedback has been tremendous and we are now looking to add further Insight Hybrids to other key locations.’
