Indra and Allstar streamline at-home fleet EV charging

EV charging manufacturer Indra has teamed up with fleet solution giant Allstar to streamline at-home charging for fleet drivers.

Indra’s smart EV chargers are now integrated with Allstar’s Homecharge payment platform for fleet and business customers

Indra’s full range of smart EV chargers, including the new Smart Lux, are now integrated with Allstar’s Homecharge payment platform for fleet and business customers.

The partnership supports the shift to EVs by enabling a simple at-home charging solution for fleet drivers. This mitigates key challenges faced by fleet managers, such as non-compatible chargers and reimbursement delays.

The tie-up also means that employees can charge fleet vehicles at home overnight when electricity is cheaper – cutting costs while also preventing downtime by ensuring fleet assets are available for use during the day.

Thanks to the integration, drivers can automatically share charging data with their fleet manager, reducing the time and effort with submitting expenses. Only essential data is shared, ensuring drivers’ personal energy usage remains private, while fleet managers receive all the information necessary for managing their fleets’ charging activity.

Drivers also maintain full control over their EV charger, retaining access to the complete catalogue of features including lock charger functionality, solar functionality, boost functionality and ability to access their preferred tariff.

Fleet drivers using Indra’s EV chargers will also have access to Indra’s app and customer support services.

Ashley Tate, managingdirector at Allstar Chargepass UK, said: “Our partners at Indra understand that convenience is key, which is why they have delivered one of the best EV chargers available. Coupled with Allstar’s Homecharge solution, customers will be confident that they are accurately paying for the true cost of electric vehicle charging for business use at home.

“It’s an exciting time for EV fleets and we look forward to developing our partnership with Indra.”
