EV rapid charging specialist Ionity has launched its first charging solution dedicated to corporate fleets.

Ionity Fleet delivers competitive rates, flexible tariffs, centralised management and ultra-fast charging at over 4,800 charge points

Ionity Fleet is designed to deliver greater efficiency, sustainability and cost control for electric fleets through new payment methods and flexible, competitive tariffs.

Customers benefit from competitive rates, flexible tariffs, centralised management and ultra-fast charging at over 4,800 charge points providing 350kW across 24 European countries.

With Ionity Fleet, corporate fleets get a dedicated RFID card for businesses for easy, instant charging with no need for authentication or login. Business customers can simply plug in the car and tap the card to begin charging. Companies with fleets larger than 250 vehicles can customise the card with their own branding for integration into their corporate identity.

Fleets also benefit from simplified administration and cost management – Ionity handles centralised billing and fleet management, reducing administrative tasks for operators.

Ionity said the new product has been driven by the growing demand for sustainable and efficient mobility solutions for businesses. Corporate fleets represent over half of all new cars sold annually in Europe, and with the EU’s and UK’s clear target to decarbonise these fleets, initiatives supporting the transition to EVs are expected to grow.

Simon Oetter, head of CPO B2B at Ionity, said: “We’re seeing a strong rise in demand for electric fleet solutions as more companies embrace sustainable mobility. We are thrilled to support this transition with an efficient and scalable charging solution that perfectly meets the needs of this rapidly growing market.”
