Logistics UK reveals line-up for free Route to Net Zero webinar

Logistics UK has announced the speakers for its free Route to Net Zero webinar, which is now open for bookings.

Logistics UK’s free Route to Net Zero webinar takes place on 10 November 2021 at 11am

Taking place on 10 November 2021 at 11am – Transport Day at COP26 – the event will see the trade body launch its decarbonisation manifesto for the logistics industry virtually from Glasgow.

The webinar will also include an expert line-up of speakers; latest names to be confirmed include Andy Eastlake, CEO of Zemo Partnership, along with Jackie Hewson, alternative fuels implementation manager – transport at John Lewis Partnership and Elaine Pringle, fleet manager at Scottish Water.

Both John Lewis and Scottish Water are among the first companies to sign up to Logistics UK’s Route to Net Zero commitment and will share their companies’ decarbonisation strategies at the event.

And Logistics UK’s chief executive, David Wells, will present the business group’s route map to help decarbonise logistics across all transport modes, as well as detailing the measures that the industry needs from government and other stakeholders to make net zero a reality.
