London Executive to replace luxury chauffeur fleet with Mercedes hybrids

The company runs a fleet of more than 460 cars operating over 3,500 accounts and says that reducing its carbon footprint while still offering luxury service at affordable prices is a priority.

‘Within two years we hope to have fully converted our fleet to Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC Hybrids,' said managing director Adam Harvey.

'We don’t see being green as an alternative way of getting around the city – it’ll be the only way we will operate our fleet at London Executive at no extra cost to our clients. Being green is a basic requirement and not a USP for a car service.’
