The two models now gain the brand’s new design identity and logo, with a redesigned exterior design, an updated interior and larger batteries, while carrying over the existing practicality and comfort features.

The updated ë-Berlingo starts from £30,990 and features a 136hp (100kW) electric motor combined with a new 52kWh battery that delivers a WLTP range of up to 205 miles. It features a new regenerative braking system that now comes with a choice of three braking modes using steering wheel-mounted paddles. The battery can be charged from 0-80% in 30 minutes using a 100kW DC rapid charger.

The ë-Berlingo is available in two trim levels, Plus and Max. Plus variants come in two sizes (M – 4.41 m and XL – 4.76 m) with XL versions offering seating for up to seven. With the front passenger seat folded down, the load length extends to 2.70m for the M version and 3.05m for the XL version.

Standard equipment includes rear parking sensors, a 10-inch fully digital driving instrument display, LED headlights and daytime running lights, and programmable cruise control and speed limiter. Driver assistance technologies bring Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Electric Parking Brake, Reversing Camera with Top Rear Vision, and Towbar Stability Control.

The ë-Berlingo also comes with the ‘My Citroën Drive Plus’ infotainment system as standard, which offers a 10-inch touchscreen with 3D Connected Navigation, wireless smartphone mirroring with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a rear-view reversing camera with top rear vision function.

Max versions gain Citroën Advanced Comfort front seats with specially designed lateral support, three independent, sliding and folding rear seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, gloss black roof bars and a leather steering wheel.

The refreshed ë-SpaceTourer is priced at £37,990. It teams up the 136hp (100kW) motor seen in its smaller sibling with either a 50kWh battery offering a 139-mile WLTP range or a 75kWh battery that’s new to the UK market and has an official 217-mile range.

A 7.4kW onboard charger comes as standard, giving a full recharge in six hours 40 minutes for the smaller battery and 11 hours 20 minutes for the larger. The optional 11kW three-phase charger cuts this to four 50 minutes and seven hours 30 minutes respectively. With a 100kW DC rapid charger, it takes 38 minutes (50kWh battery) or 45 minutes (75kWh battery) to charge the battery from 5-80%.

It’s available in two body lengths (M – 4.98 m and XL – 5.33 m). Private customers can choose between five-, seven- and eight-seater versions, while professional customers benefit from customised options that can carry from five to nine occupants, including the VIP Seating pack that features a reversible second row and seating up to seven people.

Trim levels span You! and Max grades, both available in M and XL body lengths. Entry-level You! versions can be specified with both 50kWh and 75kWh batteries, while Max models come just with the larger battery.

Key standard features include a fully digital driver’s display, a 10-inch HD touchscreen with wireless smartphone mirroring, rear parking sensors and enhanced safety features, including keep lane assist, active safety brake, speed limit information with intelligent speed assist, high beam assist, and driver attention alert.

Max models feature a 180-degree parking camera with front and rear parking sensors and lateral park assist, as well as 17-inch diamond-cut silver and black alloy wheels, leather seat trim, two hands-free sliding electric rear doors, heated front seats with massage function, and a heated leather steering wheel.

First deliveries of both models are expected in April.
