Maxus launches £6k EV subsidy for T90 electric pickup
Fleets can now save an extra £6k off the T90EV electric pickup with Maxus’ new EV conquest support scheme.
The limited-time offer complements the existing £5k Office for Low Emission Vehicles grant and means that customers can order the T90EV today from £38,950 (excl. VAT).
Alongside the £5k grant and new £6k subsidy, the 5,6,7,8 programme also offers a five-year warranty, free 7kW charger (home or workplace installed) and eight-year battery warranty.
Available from all Maxus dealerships across the UK, the £6k subsidy offer will finish on 30 September 2023.
Launched last year as the UK’s first all-electric pickup, the T90EV features a 204hp motor driving the rear wheels only, powered by an 88.55kWh battery and giving a range of up to 220 miles under the WLTP city rating and a charging time (20-50% DC) of some 45 minutes. It also comes with back-row passenger seats and a payload of 1,000kg. Standard safety equipment includes reversing camera, rear parking sensor, driver and front passenger airbags, rain sensing wipers and factory rollbar and side steps.
It’s aimed at fleets, including security, utility and blue light organisations alongside those in the building trade. But it’s also targeted at customers seeing a lifestyle vehicle for carrying bikes, camping equipment and other sporting paraphernalia.
Mark Barrett, director, Harris Maxus said: “We did it before with our £30m conquest support programme and we’re doing it again with a new £6,000, per vehicle, support programme and free charger to help our customers transition to EV. This is part of Maxus’ commitment to making sustainable transportation feasible and accessible. However, the offer is for a limited time so I encourage anyone interested in checking out the UK’s only EV pick-up to contact their local Maxus dealer today.”
