Mina expands public charging network to nearly 6,000 chargers
Mina has further expanded its public charging network, now giving access to nearly 6,000 chargers across more than 2,000 different locations.
Said to be the largest dedicated business public charging network in the UK, Chargepass enables drivers to access charge points via a single RFID card.
Fleets can complete in a self sign-up in around two minutes, ensuring drivers can simply use their Chargepass card at available locations without having to pay anything. Instead, the business picks up the charging costs on a single monthly invoice – and this can also be set up to combine home and workplace charging too, under Mina’s comprehensive approach to charging payment solutions.
All charges are displayed in the Mina Fleet portal, along with insights on costs, charging times and carbon reporting – giving all the data fleets need and making paying for EV charging transparent, accurate and easy for employers and employees.
Chris Dalrymple, managing director and co-founder at Mina, said: “By extending our network, we’re able to offer more flexibility to drivers who need to charge on the go, or for those who don’t have off street parking.
“And now with our simple online store, it’s incredibly easy for businesses to order and pay for their Chargepass cards, meaning their drivers could have access to thousands of public charge points in just a few clicks.”
He added: “I’m proud that Mina also has the only platform that can show fleet managers home versus public and workplace charging insights in one place – right down to the cost and carbon of every charge.”
