Monta charging network now available via Zap-Pay

Monta has joined Zapmap as a payment partner, delivering an integrated charging payment experience.

Monta is now integrated within the Zap-Pay app

With a charging network offering a centralised system to manage multiple public charging hubs, the arrival of Monta means Zapmap app users can now pay quickly and easily for their charging across tens of thousands of charge points.

The company also shares a live data partnership with Zapmap, meaning users of the Zapmap app and web map can see live status updates on Monta charge points at any time, day or night.

Monta’s platform has more than 500,000 users across 32 countries and provides integration with 500+ supported charger models. It’s used by over 750 industry partners to offer a charging experience that’s free from hardware restrictions, delivering a solution which is fully OCPP-compliant and adaptable to any setup.

As Zapmap’s 17th payment partnership, Monta joins a network of charge point operators that also includes Be.EV, EVC, PoGo, Osprey, ESB Energy, Char.gy, GeniePoint, Mer, MFG EV Power, Fastned, Alfa Power, Connected Kerb, Evyve, Charge My Street, Applegreen Electric, and For EV.

Zapmap’s in-app payment solution Zap-Pay enables credit or debit card access to charging, providing a simple way to pay for EV charging across networks from within the Zapmap app. Drivers can also use both Apple Pay and Google Pay on all Zap-Pay enabled devices across the UK.

Zap-Pay customers can also view their charging history, receive live status updates while away from their vehicle, and download receipts to help keep track of their spending. enabled devices across the UK.
