Myenergi passes 500,000 home charge point sales
Myenergi has claimed it’s on track to become the UK’s leading home EV charge point provider, after passing 500,000-unit sales to date.
Founded in 2016, the business is based in the UK, with subsidiaries in Germany, Australia, Ireland and Benelux.
Its product range includes the Zappi, said to be the world’s first solar-compatible smart EV charge point, plus the Eddi solar power diverter, Harvi wireless current monitor and Libbi smart home battery – all of which create a home ecosystem that enables customers to control and optimise energy usage.
UK sales of the Zappi almost doubled in 2022, with more than 55,000 units shipped compared to around 29,000 in 2021, and the firm says the growth puts it on track to become the UK’s largest home EV charge point provider before the end of the calendar year.
Lee Sutton, co-founder and chief executive, said: “With demand for eco-smart home energy technology increasing at a record rate, we’re delighted to have surpassed 500,000 global sales – a huge testament to the work of our talented team. Our next big milestone will be the sale of our one-millionth device, which we are firmly on track to deliver by 2025, helped by our state-of-the-art new manufacturing facility that will become operational in the coming months.”
In 2023, production operations will move to a brand-new 65,000 sq ft manufacturing facility adjacent to its Lincolnshire head office, supporting future demand for its product range.
