New domestic charging wallbox cuts blackout risk

The eHome BeON solution comprises a sensor which is added to the protection panel at home, monitoring energy consumption from appliances within the house, and communicating company's eHome charging points. 

By monitoring the combined energy consumption, the device can tell the charging point to reduce its power output to avoid overloading the supply, automatically restoring full power when it becomes available safely.
