A major new partnership that aims to significantly boost the UK’s public and private EV infrastructure has been announced at the London EV Show.

Independent energy supplier Pozitive Energy has joined forces with Swiss energy management solutions provider Landis+Gyr for a new end-to-end charging solution that they say will deliver the country’s most substantial gear shift in EV charging.

The new solution includes full installation and management of Landis+Gyr’s EV charging solutions, fixed national pricing, ‘tap-and-go’ payment processes, and the ability to earn revenues or offset energy bills from charge point use.

Over the next five years, Pozitive Energy expects to install 30,000 of Landis+Gyr’s electric vehicle charging units across the UK, making it of the UK’s largest charge point operators.
